Daniel Louis "Danny" Devore is a minor character in the Showtime drama series Queer as Folk, he is the father of Michael Novotny through a high school romance with Debbie Novotny.
Story[]
He is found by Michael. In conversation with Danny, and him mentioning Vic Grassi, mentioning Debbie Novotny, and him finding an old yearbook belonging to his mother with a man that physically resembled him, he came to a skeptical conclusion that Danny Devore was his father.
After many years, Debbie confronts Danny on his departure. She tells him that she wasn't mad because he was gay, but that he deceived her.
While never admitting he was his father, and Debbie's story changing about the war hero she claimed to be Michael's father, and a present physical resemblance, it is safe to say that Danny Devore is Michael's long lost biological father.

- He is the biological grandfather of Jenny Rebecca Novotny-Marcus. However, he doesn't know she exists.
